The official EcoProcura dinner and the Procura+ Awards Ceremony took place at St. Stevens Church, Nijmegen, where participants enjoyed a vegetarian fusion food market.

Food and drinks

Guests were welcomed to the venue with a drink on arrival. The dinner consisted of a vegetarian fusion buffet, which was composed of foods representing both former and the current European Green Capital. All food served was locally sourced, organic and vegetarian. Participants were also be able to choose from a selection of organic white, red and rosé wine,  gin, draft beer, Nijmegen specialty beer, organic fruit juices, mineral water, or soft drinks.

Procura+ Awards ceremony

The Procura+ Awards, which are organised by the Procura+ European Sustainable Procurement Network, reward successful, already running, sustainable and innovative public procurements in three categories:

  • Innovation Procurement of the Year

  • Sustainable Procurement of the Year

  • Procurement Initiative of the Year.
